General Recruitment and Selection Process:

1. Organisational analysis

Fusion HR seeks to put jobs into their organizational context, by first understanding its client’s business, the environment the client operates in and the issues, and the internal and external challenges that it faces.

2. Role Clarity

Fusion HR maps out the objective for each role, desired outcomes, stakeholders involved with the vacancy, and the desired qualifications and experience required to fill the position. Fusion HR will also complete a benchmark involving as many stakeholders a practical. This benchmark considers general abilities such as numerical, English and abstract reasoning, motivational factors and personality traits.

3. Search and/or Advertising

Fusion HR discusses and presents its recommended method of reaching potential candidates. If advertising, Fusion HR will formulate and place the advertisement in appropriate media.

4. Handling of Response

Fusion HR is committed to using technology to streamline its processes.  We use the latest candidate management systems to ensure candidates are handled professionally and kept informed.

5. First Interviews

Fusion HR interviews all candidates that appear to meet the basic demand of the role.

6. Shortlist

Shortlisted candidates are presented to the client including comprehensive consultant feedback.

7. Candidate Assessment

After the client has met the candidates, each of the short listed candidates will be invited to complete a full PREVUE ™ Assessment (linked to the Prevue page please).  Clients and candidates will receive result reports.

8. Reference checking

Reference checking conducted with at least 3 previous employers (if possible) and is carried out to ensure that the profile that has been determined through interview and assessment is accurate.

9. Recommendation and report

Hiring recommendations are made on candidate(s). In instances where there is more than one recommended candidate, the Fusion HR consultant assists clients in making the final decision.

10. Final Interview

Clients meet the recommended candidate(s). On occasion this may involve role plays, scenarios and presentations. Fusion HR consultants can assist in the preparation of such exercises.

11. Job Offer, Salary and Contract Negotiations.

Fusion HR supports it’s clients as required.

12. Follow up

Successful candidates are followed-up over the first twelve months to ensure their transition into the client organisation is as effective and efficient as possible, and the candidate's productivity is maximised. Where practical these are done face to face.
